Steven Gerrard and wife Alex welcome Daughter Lourdes to the world

Alex gave birth to their third daughter at 4pm yesterday, and little Lourdes weighed in at 7lb 15oz.Stevie G was present at the birth and his spokesman said both mother and daughter are "doing well."

They also famously called her Lourdes, which is the name of the French town to which millions of Catholics make pilgrimages.Steven and Alex are both practising Catholics, with Stevie attending a Catholic high school and marrying Alex in a Catholic ceremony in June 2007.Lourdes joins big sisters seven-year-old Lilly-Ella and five-year-old Lexie.Congrats to the growing family!
