Andre Villas-Boas as Tottenham Hotspurs Manager

Andre Villas-Boas has sealed his return to the Barclays Premier League by taking charge at Tottenham.Four months after being sacked by Chelsea, the Portuguese will bid to revive his career across London at White Hart Lane.

Villas-Boas flew into the capital on Monday night to finalise the deal and is expected to be officially presented next week.Villas-Boas, 34, has replaced Harry Redknapp at the helm as he bids to establish the club among England’s elite.

Redknapp was booted out last month after falling out with chairman Daniel Levy.Villas-Boas, who has signed a three-year deal, will also bring trusted aides Jose Mario Rocha and Daniel Sousa with him to White Hart Lane.

He will now embark on bringing new players to the club, with £8million Gylfi Sigurdsson expected to choose Spurs above Liverpool.
