Oba tells Female NYSC member to show her private part in court

The traditional ruler who is currently standing trial for the alleged rape of a 23 years old ex-corps members, Oba Adebukola Alli, the Alowa of Ilowa in Obokun, Osun State, on Tuesday shocked those present at the court room when he asked the court to compel the complainant, Miss Helen Okpara to show her private part to the court to confirm her allegation that she sustained injuries after making love with her.
At the resumed hearing of the case before Justice Jide Falola, Oba Adebukola, who spoke through his counsel, Mr. Taofeek Tewogbade, insisted that the victim should either show her private part at the court room or rather go into the judge’s chamber to show it to the judge and the prosecution.

Expectedly, the victim was pained by the monarch’s request as she started shedding tears in the witness box. It took the efforts of the principal state counsel, Mr. Biodun Badiora to calm her down.
After series of questions and argument by both counsels, Justice Falola refused to grant the request for Miss Okpara to expose her nudity to the court. He then adjourned the matter till May 2 for further hearing.
