 After having been remembered by family and close friends at a private funeral the previous day, Whitney Houston was officially laid to rest during a burial service on sunday 19th.The Grammy Award winning singer's body was placed in a plot at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ alongside her father, John Russell Houston, Jr., who passed away back in 2003.With only a select few family members partaking in the proceedings,Houston’s remains arrived at the final resting spot in a golden hearse.RIP my icon.pictures after the jump....
