100 year old Christmas cake celebrates milestone

                This cake which was baked in December 1911 celebrated its 100th birthday with a party in Minnesota

Not many people get to attend 100th birthday parties and when they do, they usually BRING a cake.
But when the owner of an old spice cake realised it was reaching the milestone, he decided to throw a party for it.
The Christmas cake, which was baked in December 1911, could be the country's oldest after it was found in a closet in an old house in St Louis Park and given to a friend as a joke.The friend - Pierre Girard of Golden Valley, Minnesota - kept the cinnamon spice cake and celebrated its milestone last weekHe told ABC: 'Usually, you throw a birthday party and bring a cake, but this party was for the cake
