Rapper Heavy D dies at 44

Rapper and actor Heavy D has died. He was 44.The musician (real name: Dwight Arrington Myers) was rushed to an L.A. hospital around noon Tuesday; he was pronounced dead one hour later.
According to TMZ, a 911 call was placed from Myers' Beverly Hills home at 11:25 a.m. to report an unconscious male on the walkway. When help arrived, the '90s rapper was reportedly conscious and speaking.
Police officers are currently investigating the cause of death; as of Tuesday afternoon, no obvious signs of foul play have been detected.
