The highly publicized Channel O Music Videos awards took place at the sandton convention centre ,Johannesburg, and if the event was to be summarized in one word, spectacular will be the word.

The event lived up to its billing with the attendance of A-List artistes from all over Africa.

Darey won most gifted dance video, D banj was awarded special recognition ,while banky w won most gifted R&B video .

The show was hosted by Nigeria's banky W and Dineo.
