Mugabe has prostate cancer and could be dead within two years,Wikileaks cables claim

Zimbabwe's despotic leader Robert Mugabe has terminal cancer and is expected to die within two years, according to leaked US diplomatic cables.
The 87 year-old President was diagnosed with prostate cancer and warned by doctors in 2008 that he had only five years to live, the latest Wikileaks documents reveal.
Mr Mugabe’s battle with the disease was divulged to James McGee, the former US Ambassador to Harare, by Gideon Gono, governor of Zimbabwe’s Reserve Bank, during a private meeting in June 2008.
If true, the details confirm persistent rumours that Mr Mugabe is suffering from prostate cancer and has sought life-saving treatment in Malaysia.

To date, officials in Zimbabwe have repeatedly rebutting any questions about the president’s bad health, confirming only a cataract operation overseas and claiming that the elderly leader had visited to the Far East to spend time with his daughter, Bona, a student.
This weekend, Mr Mugabe – who came to power in 1980 - announced long awaited elections would be held within six months.
Despite his extreme unpopularity in his own country and overseas, there are fears that Mr Mugabe’s death, while in office, would lead to more violence in Zimbabwe as rival factions battled for power.
