Lekki International airport on the way

A  new international airport in Nigeria is on the way. The new international airport is a project of the Lagos State government and it would be situated in Lekki area of Lagos State. Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, according to what source gathered, is bent on ensuring that the airport is completed within 2 years. Lagos State Commissioner for commerce and industry, Adeniyi Oyemade said Lekki International airport is expected to gulp about $650 million (US Dollars). The government is working with some private investors on the airport project.
