Christopher, 13, was taken into intensive care after suffering multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung while at the beach in Malibu, according to TMZ. Shriver has been by his bedside around the clock, with Schwarzenegger paying regular visits.
The teen was boogie boarding while on a trip to the beach with his mother when the accident happened.
'Christopher has been in ICU since Sunday,' a source tells America's People magazine.
'Maria has not left his side and is sleeping at hospital.'
Christopher is the former couple's youngest child - they also have a son Patrick, 17, and two daughters, Katherine, 21 and Christina, 19.
