Pub Landlady jokes about slipping over...and dies hours later

A pub landlady who slipped over in high heels on a night out died just hours after joking about the tumble on Facebook.Tragic Sian Thomas, 38, suffered deep bruising to her knee after she caught a heel in the hem of her dress and fell over at a leaving party for friend Jenny Kite.
She took to Facebook on June 7 to tell friends about her 'good night' after being treated in A&E for a bruised bone on her knee

But just hours after the social networking post at 12.26pm, she was taken ill at her partner Rob McCairn's house and died the next afternoon after developing an embolism as a result of her fall.
Miss Thomas had written on Facebook: '... had a good night for jenny's leaving party ... but slipped over in my heels and been to A AND E and i have bruised the bone on my knee !!! in agony , cant walk :(... '
A friend replied:  'hi sianey well that was silly wasnt it'.
Miss Thomas, originally from Pembrey in South Wales, had worked as a landlady at the Berkeley Arms in Spetchley, Worcs., for almost three years.

She lived at the pretty and traditional pub, but is believed to have been staying over at the house of her partner in Worcester when she fell ill.
Worcestershire coroner Geraint Williams yesterday (Tues) opened and adjourned an inquest into her death.
He reported that she had developed an embolism following the fall.
Friends and colleagues paid tribute to the 'popular' and 'inspirational' blonde and said she would never be forgotten.
