Fourteen year old boy shoots and kills his mother as she sleeps on the couch

 A Fourteen year old in Detroit got a twelve gauge gun, shot his mother multiple times; killing her while she slept on her couch. And her “offence”? She wanted to keep him off the streets and told him he couldn’t hang out with the 20 year old gang bangers he was intent on running the streets with.

14 year old Joshua Smith had run away from home when his mum 36 year old Tamiko Robinson had stopped him from hanging out with the gang which he’d joined. She caught up with him and insisted he came home. He reportedly stole into his step father’s room got the gun and shot his mother (who was till her death a dialysis patient suffering from lupus) at least 10 times.
Joshua showed absolutely no remorse when he was arrested later, driving around in his mother’s car.
Heartbreakingly, his 5 year old sister who witnessed the shooting, has been asking family members “why would anyone want to hurt mummy?”
